Xiao Xiao

Xiao Xiao is a poet, who is currently editor for the website, Impact China's. Great Poems as well as the editor of The Special Issue of the Qinghai Poetry Festival. In 1993, she edited the series of Modern Chinese Poetry collections, which includes The Collected Works of the Pre-Misty Poets, The Collected Works of the Misty Poets, The Collected Works of the Post-Misty Poets, and The Collected Works of Contemporary Chinese Poetry Criticism. Her poetry collections include The Woman and Poems Under the Tree, and Time Standing on Its Tiptoes, among others. Her long poem, "Elegy for Another World" has been named by critics as a representative work of Chinese women poets from the 1990s. Her work has been translated into German, English, French, Japanese, Farsi, and Arabic, among others. Her paintings have been included in exhibits such as the "Exhibit of Contemporary Chinese Poets," and the "Calligraphy and Art Exhibit of Chinese Contemporary Writers." In 2009, she was one of the organizers of the large-scale poetry reading, "Engraving in the Memory, May 12, This is Sichuan, This is China." She is a recipient of an Exploring Poetry Award, and Achievements by A Poet in the Third Generation Award, A Wenchuan Outstanding Volunteer Award for assisting with earthquake relief, A Chinese Poetry Theater Award, the Wen Yiduo Poetry Award, the First Reader Award of Poetic Accomplishment, and the 2013 Modern Youth "Best Young Poet" Award.

潇潇，诗人、画家。1993年主编了中国现代诗编年史丛书《前朦胧诗全集》《朦胧诗全集》《后朦胧诗全集》。出版诗集有：《树下的女人与诗歌》《踮起脚尖的时间》《比忧伤更忧伤》《潇潇的诗》等。作品被翻译成德、英、日、法、韩、越南、波斯、阿拉伯、孟加拉、罗马尼亚语等。其绘画作品参加了"中国当代诗人艺术展"；"中国当代文人书画展"等。长诗《另一个世界的悲歌》被评为九十年代女性文学代表作之一，2018年5月被翻译成英文在英国剑桥《长诗杂志》（Long Pome Magazine）头条全文发表。潇潇在2008年获"汶川抗震救灾优秀志愿者奖"。以及曾获多项国内外诗歌大奖。如："闻一多诗歌奖"、"百年新诗"特别贡献奖、《诗潮》年度诗歌奖、《北京文学》诗歌奖、中国诗歌网十大好诗第一名、罗马尼亚阿尔盖齐国际文学奖等。潇潇是第一个获得此奖的亚洲人，并被授予罗马尼亚荣誉市民。

Maki Starfield

Born in Ehime, 1972. She earned her Master of Arts from Sophia University, and then got the diploma of International business management (post graduate)with Honors from Niagara College and the certificate of TESOL from St. George International College in Canada. She has also translated several English works into Japanese, from Gabriel Rosenstock to Bill Wolak. She also has published in haiku magazines and her bilingual books like Duet of Fireflies.

上智大学大学院英米文学修士課程卒業およびカナダのナイアガラ大学国際ビジネス科大学院コース修了。2012年夏にはカナダのSt. George International CollegeでTESOLを取得。最近は翻訳も行い、ガブリエル・ローゼンストック・ビル・ウォラックなどの作品を訳している。また俳句雑誌に数々の作品を発表、『ワンネス 』（２０１９年）『薔薇の花束 』（２０２０年）を含む句詩集等も出版している。
