ندى ليليّ

الندى المُسالم

الآتي مع الضباب الخفيف

ينعكس على القمر الدائري

يعشّش على الأوراق

إلى أن يحين الوقت

ليقطر على بتلات الورد الجوري.

Noctural Dew

Peaceful,

The dew that the mist brings in

Is reflected in the circular moon

And nests upon the leaves,

Until dripping onto the rose petals.

نيران نائمة

الرماد

لطيف مع النار.

الوقت

أتمناه

لطيفاً مع الحبّ.

Silhouette

Without hesitation the brush strokes

Lead where they will,

Curve what they may

As the moon floating in the lake

Creates silver ripples.

ظلال البراعم

أيتها البراعم

لَجريمة أن تكوني رائعة الجمال.

ليس حسناً

أن تُزهري بلا أيّ شائبة.

جميلةٌ ملامسة ظلالك بحنان.

Lightning Bolt

The earth rumbles

And the heavens flicker.

It blossoms with dignity,

And illuminates this flower.

Life cannot be defeated.

الأمواج والزبد

لا نهاية للأمواج

يناجي بعضها بعضاً

كأنها في مزاد مدّ وجزر.

وفي عالم البشر

بحر الكلمات شديد العمق.

Whitecaps

Waves have no ending.

They soliloquize grandly

For the sale of the ebb and flow.

And in the human world

The sea of words is so deep.

زهرة اللوتس

يا للوجه النبيل الذي هو وجهك

تنتصبين بفخر

وقد خرجتِ من الطين.

ساقك الشجاعة تتمطّى

من حيث هي في التراب

كي تبلغ وجه المياه.

الأوراق البرّية تحملها المياه

لتطفو على سطحها

وتتمايل قبل أن تدَعَ قطرات الماء

تصلّي على الورقة.

آه يا زهرة اللوتس

منذ بدأتُ أتولّه بك

لم أستطع أن أقول "أحبُّكِ".

تضيئين في اللحظة الأخيرة

قبل حلول الفجر.

الصمت يحميكِ.

آه يا زهرة اللوتس

منذ منحتكِ ثقتي

لم يسعني القول" يا زهرة وحيدة".

تبتسمين في اللحظة الأخيرة

قبيل غياب الشمس.

الصمت يستقبلكِ.

حين تصيرين وحيدة بين الزهور ستقولين:

"كفى، هذا كلّ شيء"

ثم تروحين تذوبين من طرفَي جسدك،

من جذورك وبتلاتك...

وتلتحمين بالطين وتصيرين أنتِ أيضاً طيناً.

لا يمكنني القول "وداعاً"

وأنا أواصل النظر الى الطين يلمع.

لا يمكنني تخيُّل عمق البركة.

"سا-مو-سا-را"

وأنتِ تتحضّرين لتولدي من جديد،

سأكون هنا لألتقيَك ذات يوم.

Lotus

Oh what a noble figure you are

As you stand proudly coming out of mud.

Sturdy stalk comes stretching from the ground to reach the face of the water.

Wide leaves are supported by the water to float, swing in due to let drops pray on the leaf.

And to let them be back into the water, larger.

Oh lotus, since I worship you I cannot say "I love you".

You light up a moment before the dawn. The silence protects you.

Oh lotus, since I trust you I cannot say "Lonely flower".

You smile the moment just before the sunset. The silence receives you.

In time you become lonely among flowers as you come to say, "That's all. Enough." Then you begin to melt from both ends of your body, roots and petals... to fuse with the mud and become mud itself.

I cannot say "Good by" as I keep watching the shining mud. I can just imagine the depth of the pond.

"SA-MU-SA-RA"

As you prepare yourself to be reborn, I will be able to meet you again someday.

أرخبيل الصلوات

العروس في أرخبيل اليابان

يؤلمها صدرها

لا تستطيع تنفّساً.

قلب العروس يتلاشى

لفرار أنفاسها منها.

من رأسها حتى إخمص قدميها

تحاول الآن احتمال الألم.

أولئك الذين عانوا من الكارثة

أولئك الذين يفكرون بها.

مدن امّحت

قرى اختفت

وأنا أسأل من أين أبدأ

والطرقات زالت.

في هذه اللحظة

لا يطوّق الجزيرة

سوى المؤازرة والصلوات

التي تجابه صمت العتمة.

Pegasus

This is not it,

This is not the wave

Which leads me to the bliss

And I will be defeated.

This is not it, too.

This is not that wave.

Which fills with a flash light over my vacant feeling

And I shall wait the greatest one.

My waiting is for

The big wave and the crest

Which will run from the offing,

A white horse in my image.

My waiting is

A Pegasus

Flying to space

From the ocean of life.

Poet, essayist, translator. Born in Kyoto (1952), Graduated from Ristumeikan University. Representative of Japan Universal Poets Association, Chief-in-editors of online international journal "Poetic-Bridge: Ama-Hashi".

詩人、エッセイスト、翻訳家。１９５２年京都生れ。立命館大学文学部卒業。日本国際詩人協会代表。国際詩誌「詩の架け橋：天橋」編集主幹。翻訳: 国内外の現代詩人作品を翻訳。JUNPA BOOKS　シリーズを手がける。『御名を唱えて』（原著 Gabriel Rosenstockの"Uttering Her Name")は２０１２年アイルランド文学交流協会より翻訳出版賞を受賞。『弾丸シュート』（原著Odveig Klyve の"Bullistic"は２０１９年ノルウェー文学普及協会（ＮＯＲＬＡ）より翻訳助成を下付される。
