I Have Given Up Half My Life, But I Couldn't Give You Up.

With time raging, right in the shards I am

To capture the long river,

Praying for the presence of the wind.

Like a walker with a broken arm,

I can neither blow hot and cold,

Nor be in the mood for radiant sun or gentle wind.

Let you come and go, as it were at the very beginning,

Leaving me flicker all the way through miles of spring breeze.

Nothing can be transmuted but the dusty-like time,

I couldn't give you up, though I have given up half my life.

時間が荒れ狂うと、破片の中でわたしは直立する

長い川を捉えるために

風の存在を祈るのだ。

片方の腕が骨折している歩行者のように

熱く、あるいは冷たく吹くことはできないわ

キラキラ輝く太陽や穏やかな風の気分にはならない。

春の微風が遠くからずっと、わたしを揺らめかせながら

まさに最初の頃のように、あなたに行き来してほしいわ

何も変わるはずはないが、ほこりのような時間、

Dumu Luofei

He Jialin, pseudonym Dumu Luofei, a resident of Hong Kong. She is the editor-in-chief of Huaxing Morning Newspaper, the editor-in-chief of Hua Xing Shi Tan, Chief Editor of Huaxia Nationality Publishing House, and Dean of ASEAN School of Creative Management in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Her literary collections range from poetry, prose to short stories.

度母洛妃，本名何佳霖，香港居民。现任（海内外发行）华声晨报社副总编，华星诗谈主编，华夏民族出版社总编、（广西）东盟创意管理学院院长。作品有诗集，散文，短篇小说。

度母洛妃（Dumu Luofei）本名：何佳霖（He Jialin）、香港在住。作家、ジャーナリスト。作品は、詩、散文、短編の多岐に亘る。Huaxing Morning Newspaper編集長、Hua Xing Shi Tan 編集長、Huaxia Nationality Publishing House編集長、広西チワン自治区のASEAN School of Creative Management学部長を務める。

Maki Starfield

Born in Ehime, 1972. She earned her Master of Arts from Sophia University, and then got the diploma of International business management (post graduate)with Honors from Niagara College and the certificate of TESOL from St. George International College in Canada. She has also translated several English works into Japanese, from Gabriel Rosenstock to Bill Wolak. She also has published in haiku magazines and her bilingual books like Duet of Fireflies.

マキ・スターフィールド

上智大学大学院英米文学修士課程卒業およびカナダのナイアガラ大学国際ビジネス科大学院コース修了。2012年夏にはカナダのSt. George International CollegeでTESOLを取得。最近は翻訳も行い、ガブリエル・ローゼンストック・ビル・ウォラックなどの作品を訳している。また俳句雑誌に数々の作品を発表、『ワンネス』（２０１９年）『薔薇の花束』（２０２０年）を含む句詩集等も出版している。
