Iskra Doneva was born on 20 July 1983 in Skopje. She reads, writes and publishes literature since she was seven. In the year 2000, she presents herself to the public with her first collection of poems "The language of the heart". After her primary and secondary education, her love for writing over wailed and she became one of the students of the comparative studies of world literature at the Faculty of Philology "Blaze Koneski" - Skopje, where now she is on post-graduate studies. She is a member of the literary circle "Mugri" and she publishes her work in the bulletin of this circle. Also, she is part of the Club "UNESKO: Foreign languages - window of the world" and part of many literary readings and performances, cultural events and festivals in the country and abroad, among which is "Struga Poetry Evenings". In the last few years, she also writes for the periodicals "Ogledalo" ("Mirror"), Feniks" ("Phoenix"), "Mravka" ("Ant"), "Spectar" ("Spectrum"), "Nashe pismo" ("Our Letter")... and for electronic magazines "Mirage" (www.mirage.com.mk) and "Liternet" (.https://liternet.bg ). Certain parts of her opus are available on English, French, Polish, Serbian and Bulgarian. She translates from English and French. As fruit of her passion toward the shortest lyric genre, in 2006, appears collection of haiku poetry, "Who will keep the birds warm". In 2009 in "Crossroad in the sky" , the same passion search new media and it raises in haiga, the genre that is presented for the first time in front of wider literary public. This year, 2013, in her opus she notes more haiku books: "Grasshopper plays hopscotch", "Father" and "Lazaropole's haikus". Few new manuscripts are waiting to be published.

イスクラ・ドネヴァは１９８３年７月２０日スコピエで生まれた。７歳のときから読み書きを行い文芸誌に発表。２０００年には第一詩集「心の言葉」を自費出版。小学・中学教育を受けた後、執筆への思いは高まり、スコピエの「Blaze Koneski" 言語学部において世界比較文学を学ぶに至った。現在はポスドク研究生。文学同人「MUGRI」の会員であり、同人誌に発表している。また「ユネスコ」クラブ「外国語は世界の窓」の一員として多くの文学朗読、イベント、文化イベントや国内外の詩祭「ストルーガ詩祭」の一翼を担っている。数年前に「Ogledalo（鏡）」「Feniks（不死鳥）」「Mravka　（蟻）」「Spectar（スペクトラム）」「Nashe pismo （私たちの手紙）」を電子詩誌に発表した。それらは英語、フランス語、ポーランド語、セルビア語、ブルガリア語にも訳されている。また自身も英語・フランス語から翻訳している。その情熱の結晶はもっとも短い詩のジャンルとして２００６年には俳句「誰が鳥を温め続ける」を上梓、２００９年には「空の交差路」で国際的にデビューした。２０１３年には俳句「Grasshopper plays hopscotch」「Father」 「Lazaropole's haikus」を発表。現在も多くを執筆している。
