Opening Speech by Takashi Arima
有馬敲理事の挨拶
Dear Friends,
I am very glad to meet you today in this poetry festival. Above all two guest poets Juri Talvet from Estonia and Odveig Klyve from Norway.
8 years passed from establishment of JUNPA. It is so rapid to time current. We are facing to the stage how to continue in the future. So that I ask everyone to cooperate at one's capacity and with unique ideas.

JUNPA conferred Arima Takashi Prize to Mr.Gozo Yoshimasu.
Mr. Yoshimasu's outstanding activities on poetry, readings, and films in and out of Japan. Arima Takashi presented the prize with his full of respect.

吉増剛造氏のスピーチと記念朗読
Arima-san and I associated each other since 1970's. His activities, oral-reading-group was popular in the time. So, Kyoto has keen sense and cut-edging culture in any age, I respect that. Also, today I came to know that Kyoto has a lot of water (half of Lake Biwa) underground. It was fresh for me. I really hope JUNPA continue this activities and succeed. Thank you.

ネオ・エポック俳句コンテスト授賞式
Teko Uemura leads a new scheme of Haiku composing. It sparkles in spirit of audiences and readers.
