～千年の都、京都で愛を謳う～

京都府文化力チャレンジ採択事業として、日本の文学に造詣が深く自著「万句集」を本邦初訳で発行したイタリア詩人ダンテ・マッフィアをゲストに、２０２３年１月２１日、２２日　JUNPA詩歌祭を開催します。イタリア文化会館大阪より後援をいただいています。

場所は京都市国際交流会館和風別館です。畳の大広間、多くの部屋を利用して日本語で詩歌を発表、鑑賞し楽しく二日間を過ごしたいと存じます。（詳細は本サイトで通知します。会員は天橋だよりや交流会で案内します。

21 e 22 gennaio 2023, JUNPA Poetry Festival, con l'ospite del poeta italiano Dante Maffia, che ha una profonda conoscenza della letteratura giapponese e ha pubblicato il suo libro "Diecimila Haiku" nella prima traduzione in Giappone come progetto da adottare " la sfida del potere culturale della prefettura di Kyoto". Sarà tenuto. È patrocinato dall'Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Osaka.

Il luogo è l'Annesso in stile giapponese della Kyoto International Community House. DAL GIAPPONE ALLA CALABRIA E VICEVERSA

Un manifesto di colore giallo tenue in giapponese moderno e in lingua italiana con il logo dell'Istituto italiano di Cultura e dell'Associazione internazionale dei Poeti in alto, mentre in basso l l'immagine adombrata del volto del grande poeta italiano e di origine calabrese Dante Maffia ed accanto un suo haiku che esalta la bellezza della citta di Kyoto. In questa straordinaria città dai Giardini Incantati dal Gennaio 2023 si terrà il Premio intitolato a Dante Maffia. Nel 2017 Dante Maffia fu invitato in Giappone al Festival Internazionale di Poesia di KIOTO e in quell'occasione dopo aver parlato dei più grandi scrittori giapponesi promise che avrebbe scritto diecimila haiku , la forma di poesia giapponese in tre versi. In realtà la prodigiosa fatica poetica in un anno ha raggiunto i 13.000 mila haiku tradotti e raccolti in ventidue volumi con il testo a fronte. I giapponesi hanno saputo realizzare, dando ufficialità all'opera del poeta con il premio istituito a suo nome, un 'opera di riconoscimento del suo genio poetico che l'Italia e la Calabria, sua terra natale, hanno tralasciato dimenticando che la rinascita di una terra nasce dai simboli e che in terra di Calabria, insieme con tanti vividi intelletti, brilla la luce del poeta Dante Maffia. Conoscevo poco la letteratura giapponese, l'ultimo premio Nobel Ishiguro ma ho imparato ad amarla leggendo le recensioni di Dante Maffia sui romanzi di Kawabata , Premio Nobel e di Murakami e di altri autori. Leggere i suoi haiku ha significato per alcuni aspetti vivere di meraviglia ad ogni lettura , consegnarmi alla bellezza di un 'eccelsa musicalità del verso. L'eco che si sprigiona dai versi degli haiku non è risonanza verbale ma musica, l'essenza stessa dell'armonia: non c'è mai una nota fuori posto che non si accompagni all'altra , mai un suono che non trovi nello spartito il posto assegnato sul rigo, ogni volta il verso racchiude in se la bellezza della perfezione così difficile negli haiku non ripetersi e racchiudere in pochi versi sentimenti ed emozioni. La parola non è una nota ripetuta, risuona come voce sempre nuova , esalta la compiutezza del senso e libera mille sensazioni, che può dare solo un ritmo inimitabile .. Si sprigiona dai versi di questi suoi haiku una tale consonanza di suoni da percepire un che di divino nei suoi versi, da rasentare l' assoluta perfezione.Di certo gli haiku, visti dagli occhi di un lettore occidentale, appaiono come brevi componimenti che seguono una tecnica ben precisa e che si concludono in un'immagine singola, dominante proprio per la sua concisione. Scrive Dante Maffia in una sorta di premessa, quasi un'iniziazione come se volesse avvicinare il lettore ignaro alla Conoscenza di un universo poetico sfuggente per le sue infinite variazioni, che è stato facile per lui dedicarsi agli haiku come se gli antichi spiriti della poesia giapponese si fossero insediati nel suo cuore e nei suoi occhi e gli avessero dettato l'essenza dei versi, quel sottile profumo che sa dare perfezione al ritmo e alle immagini. Non è difficile crederlo data la straordinaria varietà dei temi trattati che vanno dai più inimmaginabili dedicati alle rane, alle cicale e più sorprendenti alla natura, al sole, alla luna, alla bellezza e al fascino di una città come Kioto e ancora a temi universali come l'amore declinato in tutte le sue forme e sfumature. E siccome Dante Maffia è unico anche quando si dedica agli haiku, è riuscito a sovvertire il metodo che rendeva questo genere di poesia talvolta troppo quieto e immobile come l'acqua di uno stagno e l'ha vivificato creando haiku che, attraverso parole che si richiamano, diventano una tessitura sottile di fili che conducono alla stessa illuminazione , alla sorgente perenne della sua ispirazione. Questi haiku concatenati in una visione che guida lo sguardo in tante direzioni e in un unico senso è l'autentica invenzione creativa di Dante Maffia. Il raccordo tra un haiku e l'altro, che nella poesia conosciuta in Occidente si chiamerebbe enjambement, nel poeta è molto più dell'artificio retorico perché in questi versi il suono e il ritmo generano una fluidità misteriosa che lega i versi, pur presentandoli nella separazione voluta dall'ordine tecnico imposto da questo genere poetico.Il poeta scrive versi come perle concatenate dal loro stesso luccichio, che avrebbero senso anche isolate ma che rilucono di una luce abbagliante, incastonate come in una collana, in cui l'una dona e riceve nello stesso tempo luce dall'altra.

Io scrivo haiku

da quando Basho disse

che sono lampi.

Posso affermarlo,

il mio cuore contiene

haiku infiniti,

Lampi che hanno

un'anima e una voce

di melodie.

Son sempre pronti

con parole ammalianti

a darmi retta.

Perfino quando

mi sono allontanato

dalla misura,

dai temi antichi

facendone racconti

e cantilene,

concatenando

un haiku al seguente,

un fischio all'altro.

Il poeta confessa a se stesso e al lettore il senso dello scrivere haiku per lui e li definisce lampi di una particolare armonia, quella creata dal ritmo e dal suono nati dalla sua invenzione. Qualsiasi haiku si scelga tra gli innumerevoli scritti da Dante Maffia si ritrova qualcosa d'antico e di nuovo, la melodia dei versi e il ritmo rispettati si coniuga col racconto che Maffia fa di se stesso e delle cose in cui vive la sua anima di poeta: siano ciliegie a Roseto o girasoli, siano le stagioni o i suoi sogni, tutta la sua vita e la sua substantia di uomo- poeta rivivono negli haiku. Si potrebbe definire un lungo racconto della sua esistenza che si smarrisce e si ritrova ogni volta nella creazione dei versi di un haiku. Diventa tutt'uno Dante Maffia con i suoi haiku, non più distinguibile il sogno dalla realtà e ogni haiku uno scrigno che svela la bellezza e la profondità della sua anima in un rincorrersi di immagini che non danno tregua e non lasciano respirare il lettore . E' davvero un autentico interprete della realtà magica del Giappone come terra di incanti e meraviglie che ha saputo unire nel suo cuore alla soavità dei suoni della lingua italiana, senza mai tradire se stesso e la sua anima perché il potente motore di questa sua inesauribile esperienza di scrittura è l'amore in cui tutto si cela e si rivela :la donna, la natura, l'infanzia, la morte e infine la scoperta di un altro se stesso in cui alberga lo spirito del Giappone .

Qualsiasi lettura, anche approfondita, degli haiku lascerà un senso di incompiuto e di irrisolto come quando qualche nota musicale si perde nonostante l'affannarsi a rincorrerla perché l'orecchio non riesce a coglierle tutte. Solo il poeta ha colto tutte le tonalità del canto-narrazione che il Giappone gli ha suggerito trasferendole nei suoi haiku , al lettore non resta che leggerli e goderli sedotto dal coinvolgimento in quell'atmosfera magica.

FROM JAPAN TO CALABRIA AND VICEVERSA

The connection between one haiku and another, which in the poetry known in the West would be called enjambement, in the poet is much more than the rhetorical artifice because in these verses the sound and the rhythm generate a mysterious fluidity that binds the verses, while presenting them in the intentional separation from the technical order imposed by this poetic genre.The poet writes verses like pearls chained by their own glitter, which would make sense even isolated but which shine with a dazzling light, set as in a necklace, in which one gives and at the same time it receives light from the other.

one haiku to the following,

one whistle to another.

The poet confesses to himself

The poet confesses to himself and to the reader the meaning of writing haiku for him and defines them as flashes of a particular harmony, the one created by the rhythm and sound born of his invention. Any haiku you choose from among the countless writings by Dante Maffia you will find something old and new, the melody of the verses and the respected rhythm is combined with the story that Maffia makes of himself and of the things in which his soul as a poet lives : be it cherries in Roseto or sunflowers, be it the seasons or his dreams, his whole life and his substance as a man-poet relive in the haiku. It could be defined as a long story of the existence of him who gets lost and finds himself every time in the creation of the lines of a haiku. Dante Maffia becomes one with his haiku, no longer distinguishable the dream from reality and each haiku a casket that reveals the beauty and depth of his soul in a succession of images that give no respite and do not let the reader breathe . He is truly an authentic interpreter of the magical reality of Japan as a land of enchantments and wonders that he knew how to combine in his heart with the sweetness of the sounds of the Italian language, without ever betraying himself and his soul because the powerful engine of this inexhaustible experience. of writing is the love in which everything hides and reveals itself: woman, nature, childhood, death and finally the discovery of another self in which the spirit of Japan resides.

Any reading, even in depth, of the haiku will leave a sense of unfinished and unresolved as when some musical note is lost despite struggling to chase it because the ear is unable to grasp them all. Only the poet has grasped all the tones of the song-narration that Japan has suggested by transferring them into his haiku, the reader just has to read them and enjoy them seduced by the involvement in that magical atmosphere.
