Bob Mwangi Kihara is a Kenyan poet, writer and communicator, tree-farmer,

environmentalist and Space enthusiast. He has more than three-and-half decades long experience in journalism and media relations and poetry at national and international level. He has worked professionally as a journalist for a Kenyan newspaper - 'The East African Standard ', with the United Nations as a Communication Officer doing duty in Kenya and Somalia and also worked as a Press Officer at the Switzerland-based headquarters of the WorldWide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Bob is also a translator of poetry into the Kiswahili language for the ITHACA

/Poetry Without Borders Project in Spain. Kiswahili is spoken by about 140 million people in East and Central Africa. Bob is also a published poet of a chapbook titled 'The Lion Roars in the Savannah' which is available on Amazon. He is currently a United Nations retiree.

In his poetry, Bob is inspired by the desire to foster peace and good relations between people of different cultures, opinions and beliefs. He believes poetry provides an avenue to conquer, discuss and bridge even the most difficult of issues and differences.

沈む太陽の国から、挨拶を。

Cao Shui（Chinese: 曹谁;pinyin: Cáo Shuí), also Shawn Cao (born in Jun 5, 1982), is a Chinese poet, novelist, screenwriter and translator. He is a representative figure of Chinese Contemporary Literature. He leads the Great Poetry Movement, Poetry Film Movement and Dramatizing Fiction Movement. In his "Manifesto of Great Poetry", he aims to integrate sacred and secular cultures, oriental and occidental cultures, ancient and modern cultures in Chinese literature. In 2008, he resigned from a newspaper and traveled around Tibet and Xinjiang, which is the center of Eurasia or the World in his view. His novels Secret of Heaven trilogy tells the whole developing history of human civilization. His most notable works includes Epic of Eurasia, the already mentioned trilogy and King Peacock (TV series). In his works, he extracts elements of various ancient human civilizations, from Babylon to the west to Judea, Egypt, Greece, to the east to Persia, India, China, and uses these elements to reconstruct a new Utopian human homeland, which always described as Eurasia, the Top of the Tower of Babel or Kunlun Mountains (Heaven Mountains). You stand center stage

They all push you towards sorrow

Backstage, some play the accompaniment

Bilal Al Masri was born in Tripoli, Lebanon in 1974. He is a self-taught person, active in the

Lebanese literary community and known throughout the Arab world. He has published four

poetry collections and has selected poetry translated into French in 2023. He has written three novels and two plays as well as children's stories, which were translated into English in Canada. Selected poems have appeared in six anthologies, including in English and Polish.

He has received four different awards including the "Zheng Nian cup" national prize in China in 2023.

His most recent poetry collection is "Crushing His Head with the Stone of Memory," part of Ishraqat– a series on Arab Poetic Voices that is being curated by the iconic Syrian poet, Adonis.

Bilal is married to Sonia Essa (of Palestinian heritage) and they have two children together,

Waheeb, aged twelve, and Ghazle, aged ten .

A Story

1.

Like smoke dispersing,

words distance themselves

as you and I return to being strangers

just two characters lost in a long story,

an endless one, whose sad author

is uncertain which way to turn

When you are writing, remember to be gentle

to passers-by within the story. They pass, by

chance,

like a woman throws herself beneath a train

or a flower withers in a book

All of them have souls

which they would gladly sacrifice

to help the story's heroes to survive

and climb the words up to the very end

At story's end, the lovers will find their way

and comprehend their unique story

Let their hearts sing a song of eagerness,

let them touch each other

as a plant reaches for the sun

It is alright to wither flowers in a book

or for a woman to throw herself beneath a train –
