Laura Garavaglia 

Laura Garavaglia is born in 1956 in Milan. Nowadays, she lives and works in Como.

She contributed to the cultural pages of newspapers "Il Giornale", "Il Corriere di Como" and "L'Ordine". She has been teaching Italian Language and Italian Literature in the High Schools for many years. The Italian poet Maurizio Cucchi recommended her in 2010 for her unpublished poems in the column named "Dialoghi in versi"(Dialogues in lines) on the Italian newspaper "La Stampa". 

In poetry she published: Frammenti di vita -Fragments of life- (Il Filo 2009), 2nd award "Opera Prima Edita" at the "Circe Award, one Woman, Many cultures", Monterotondo (Rm); Farfalle e Pietre -Butterflies and stones-, (LietoColle Editore,2010) Jury's award at the literary contest "Alda Merini", Brunate (Co), mention at Literary Award Albero Andronico , Roma, 2011, La simmetria del gheriglio, Simmetry of the kernel, Stampa Editore,2012 finalist at International Poetry Award "Mario Luzi" 2013, II Edition in three languages (Italian, English, Romanian); Correnti ascensionali, Thermals, CFR 2013, II Edition in four languages (Italian, English, Romanian, Spanish); Numeri e Stelle, Ed. She is the author of the biography Franco Soldaini. I sapori della mia vita - Franco Soldaini. The flavours of my life- (Nodo Libri,2011).

She is charter member and president of the cultural association "La casa della Poesia di Como" (www.lacasadellapoesiadicomo.com) that has the purpose of spreading the poetry through meetings with the major representatives of the Italian poetry, poetry and music recitals, stage shows, book's presentations, etc. She is the curator of the International Poetry Festival Europa inversi that takes place every year in Como and where are invited most important poets from all over the word.

She also contributes to Literary Festival Parolario that takes place in Como every year.

She is member of the jury of the Literary Award "Antonio Fogazzaro" and Literary Award, "Europa in versi". She writes as literary critic on several on line literary magazine and collaborates with some publishing houses. She is director of a collection of foreign poets named "Altre Terre" and published by LietoColle and she contribute to publishing house Gattomerlino of Rome. She is member of PEN Club Italiano and PEN Club of Switzerland. Naji Naaman Literary Prize (Honor) 2019

Furthermore, she is interested in subjects inherent to the women world and to the human rights protection.

She has attended the course "Women, politics, institutions" organized by the Minister of Equal Opportunity at the Insubria University of Como between December 2006 and March 2007 and several seminars connected with the equal opportunities.

彼女は、2012年コペンハーゲン国際詩祭、2014年アンタレス詩祭に招へいされた。毎年多くの詩祭から、例えばルーマニア、マケドニア、トルコ、コロンビア、日本より招へいを受け参加している。

彼女は「コモ詩の館」の館長である。ここでは有数のイタリア詩人とともに詩・音楽・会合などをする目的で開かれている。また欧州国際詩祭のキュレーターでもある。世界の有名な詩人を招いて開催される。そのほかスイス・ルガーノ詩祭にもかかわっている。毎年9月に開催されるコモ詩祭など。またいくつかの文学賞の審査員でもある。彼女は批評紙に機構したり、出版協力もおこなっている。イタリアPENクラブ、スイスペンクラブの会員でもある。

そのほか女性問題、人権擁護運動にも関心がある。

Mariko Sumikura (Japan)

Poet, essayist, translator. Born in Kyoto (1952), Graduated from Ristumeikan University. Representative of Japan Universal Poets Association, Chief-in-editors of online international journal "Poetic-Bridge: Ama-Hashi".

Main publication: "Kokoro Kaoru Hito"," Yume Tsumugu Hito"," Hikari Oru Hito", "Ai Matou Hito"," Tsuchi daku Masurao".(Chikurinkan) She was invited to several international poetry readings such as the 49th Struga Poetry Readings in 2011, Jan Smrek International Literary Festival in 2012. すみくらまりこ(日本)

詩人、エッセイスト、翻訳家。1952年京都生れ。立命館大学文学部卒業。日本国際詩人協会代表。国際詩誌「詩の架け橋:天橋」編集主幹。翻訳: 国内外の現代詩人作品を翻訳。JUNPA BOOKS シリーズを手がける。『御名を唱えて』(原著 Gabriel Rosenstockの"Uttering Her Name")は2012年アイルランド文学交流協会より翻訳出版賞を受賞。『弾丸シュート』(原著Odveig Klyve の"Bullistic"は2019年ノルウェー文学普及協会(NORLA)より翻訳助成を下付される。
